… that’s where my little guy had his first “real” hot dog! we headed down for the radio city christmas show and it . was . cold! but he didn’t mind … that’s my guy!

fall is passing me by!

so it seems fall, the season i love more than any other, has come and is quickly passing me by. i usually have an entire folder packed full of photos of the kids in the leaves, running around in their sweaters, baggy sweatshirts, hats, and showing off their latest scarves or gloves. this year? nothing but a couple shots of brendan when he decided one day out of boredom, he’d go out and rake our yard. yup! that lasted all of about 15 minutes … but it was long enough for me to catch it! i’ve got lots of photos of other people’s kiddos … but none of mine!

so today, finally a sunday with no appointments or previously made plans (well, except for the big game at 4), we headed out for a walk …

some of us got a little more into it than others …

it was a good day all around. sorry cowboy fans … heh-heh!

happy halloween …

from my ups guy and my monarch butterfly. we had a houseful for our annual pre-trick-or-treat chilli meetup and the kids actually waited long enough this year for the grown-ups to finish eating before hitting the trick-or-treat trail. there were lots of treats in this house … hope you had lots of treats too!
