caught!

brendan and i made cookies … anticipating the start of the new work week (yea, preK is tough, you know). i caught little sis, now walking, had snuck in the kitchen … took a bite out of every cookie. yup, every cookie. that’s my girl!

i had so much fun chasing these two cousins around the neighborhood this past weekend! mr c was visiting miss l on their way home to boston. it had been a long day for both little ones and i dont’ think their parents were convinced we’d catch anything but l and c were good sports … happy to explore the many places i led them. here’s a little peek.

no doubt these two families have lots of love for each other … it’s apparent in these two little ones who i now officially call “kissing cousins”! thanks guys, for a fun hour, for letting your kids be kids, and a special thanks to brian who reintroduced me to my friend, rita!

here’s a little video from the first game of brendan’s premier season of soccer. note these are unprocessed photos. if you know me, you know that’s killing me. some are even, do i dare say it … ahem, blurry! lol!

he scored lots of goals his first game. he has a great team, amazing coaches, and easy-going parents. what more could you ask for? take a peek … i don’t think there’s any question everyone’s having fun!

expecting (no, not me silly!)

wow, wow, wow! i am posting completely out of order as i’m still crazy with all the projects going on between work, family, getting the house ready, and well, just life … but i couldn’t wait to post a small peek for these two amazing people i met and had the extreme pleasure of getting to know for the very first time. the weather didn’t exactly cooperate as planned so you’ll see more of this expecting mom in the weeks ahead … and i’ll post a few more from our session when i get to them.

and so it begins

ok, i am so super behind on all fronts … i’m not complaining, it’s a good thing that i’ve been busy! but i’m falling a little too far behind for my own sense of sanity. so begins the catch-up!

miss rebecca, from post below, is now a month old and i can’t believe how much different she looks from these newborn photos:

amazing how quickly time flies! i’m preparing to send Brendan to a brand new school tomorrow. He’d been at his other school since he was 4 months old *sniff, sniff* but the drive, tuition, and increasing gas expense made our decision to change an easy one (no, that’s not really true … i was up lots of nights going back and forth and made hubby crazy!) he’s a january birthday so most of his friends moved on to kindergarten, leaving him feeling a bit slighted (to say the least!) so i’m hoping for a good year.

to all you moms out there dropping your kids off or watching them get on the bus for the first time, wondering where the time went … i’m thinking of you this week!
